Protesting cuts to schools rebuilding projects (19July10)

by admin on July 29, 2010

Teachers and pupils are protesting at the cuts that is being made to the schools building budget. Fine words from the public sector, that generates NO money for it’s own existence. The public sector seem to think there is a bottomless pit of money to keep it going, when the UK is actually borrowing heavily just to keep the public sector going. The public sector has bled the shrinking private sector dry, Labour spent all the money, the UK is broke. Can’t the public sector accept this?!? The video drops out in two places, due to reception problem at the time of recording. There was a version of this report in the 6pm BBC news, but was heavily pro-Labour instead of sticking to the facts, so uploaded this version. Recorded from BBC 1pm News, 19 July 2010.

@irdial Why do you think the lefty councils and teaching unions hate the private schools so much….. the private schools teach facts, not lefty b0llocks like citizenship.

What is the correct phrase to describe when a teacher brainwashes a child to believe that Socialism is moral?

I’d love to have a look at the breakdown of education spending and even moreso at the school level. i.e. how much is spent on teachers salaries, administrators salaries, office equipment, etc.

These idiots have had plenty of money thrown their way and there is no excuse for a school to look like that.

These are the people that teach our kids, yet they clearly don’t understand the unbalance of the private secter vs Public sector… No wonder everyone’s turning out to be a slang talking, gang walking tosser!
